Who is Dana Pugh?

Dana Pugh is an internationally renowned children’s photographer based just outside of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. In 2011, she was named the first ever international Child Photographer of the Year by the NAPCP(National Association of Professional Children’s Photographers). She continues to be one of their most decorated family and children photographers. This opened up so many doors for her as an image competition judge, industry speaker, and mentor to hundreds of other photographers. In the last decade, she has added commercial and corporate photography to her portfolio working with top brands and agencies.

At the heart of her work will always be documenting children and their lives with their parents. She loves to capture their wonder, curiosity and joy through giving them the space to be themselves. Her work has been described as quirky, joyful and organic. After documenting hundreds of families for over 20 years, she has come to recognize that the most beautiful thing about the world we create are the imperfections and tiny moments that make the world more interesting. She would love to have the opportunity to show you what that looks like for your family.
