Rocky Mountain Engagement Session

I love it when clients are up for making an extra effort to do something awesome!! We drove out to Kananaskis and explored the beautiful Upper Lakes area. We were super lucky because it can be REALLY windy there, but it was a super calm and beautiful day(even though the forecast called for snow). 

They also brought along a Hudson's Bay Blanket--which her parents received as a wedding gift back in the day. It has long been on my wish list. That and a Pendleton blanket. Happy to have it to play with at a session.

Calgary Blooms

The blossoms were really late this year, but man were they pretty. They are such a reminder to get outside and see how beautiful the world can be...and, as a friend of mine said, especially because their beauty is so fleeting. So excited to have had a couple of sessions in the blossoms this year. Here is one of them :) Can't wait for their wedding this fall.

Erin & Kristie Engagement

This is the kind of session that makes my heart sing. We laughed(a lot--Ginny Weasley greeted me at the door! How could I not LMAO). We drank tea and ate lemon cookies. And, we talked about their relationship and their wedding...and life. And how amazing life is if you let it be. I don't share many full sessions, but I had to share this one because they let me see their real life...even though they were pretty nervous about it ;) Even though they don't live in a big, fancy house. This is their life...before marriage.

I just want to say that I am grateful for the trust that these two beautiful women put in me to capture this authentically. I am so excited for their wedding day! I literally cannot wait.
