Fall Family Portrait Time | St. Patrick Island
Did you know that I offer two types of sessions? One is what I am known for—Adventure Sessions, but I have found that not all families are up for an Adventure Session…especially in the fall when we are all busy with back to school, back to sports and just preparing to hunker down for winter ;) So, I created what I call a Simply Portraits Session. It is a quick 45 minute session that focuses on getting all of the casual portraits that you love in an Adventure Session without the adventure. This type of sessions is best suited to a family with older kids who are old enough to sit still for a portrait session and this is the perfect time of year for such a session. Here is a favourite fall Simply Portraits Session from last year to give you an idea of what you might expect from such a session.
Thinking of booking your fall portraits? The leaves will be gone before you know it, so reach out soon if you are hoping to secure a spot in my schedule.
Okotoks Graduation Photography
Calling the class of 2018!!! I'm starting to book time slots on some of the most popular grad dates of the year--including right here in my small town, Okotoks. The nice thing about being a graduate of a high school in Okotoks is that if the weather is fine, we can do the session outside, but should it rain(or heaven forbid--snow), I've got you covered in my studio right here in town.
Should you want photographs on the day of your grad--I've got a special deal just for you. A quick 45 minute session with you, your family, and your date. I'll create a minimum of 40 images for you. The session is a flat rate of $750(+gst) and includes the session fee and the full resolution, digital files. Additional products like albums, canvases, and press printed cards are also available. A $250(+gst) deposit is required to reserve your spot in my schedule. Contact me QUICKLY as the spots are not likely to last.
Here are some photographs I created last year for the beautiful Gianna, her mom and her date.

Winter Engagement Session | Calgary Wedding Photographer
I have shared a few of these on social media already, but haven't yet done so here. We were so incredibly lucky to get a beautiful snow fall with a bit of sun. Especially this year...when the snow here has been minimal. This couple is getting married in July and their wedding will set a record for past brides being present. I will have to get a photograph of me with all of them ;) It will also be my first wedding in a big red barn!! Can't wait ;)
I know I've been kind of quiet here lately, but I've been busy shooting, teaching, and preparing to launch my new studio sessions. Keep an eye out here for some awesome opportunities to be amongst the first to be photographed in my new studio coming soon ;) And, I still have a couple of spots for weddings this fall if you know of anyone who is looking!! Some popular dates are still open.
Thanks!

Bubbles
Bubbles. Fun at any age.
Dreaming of warmer days as it looks like the cold weather is moving in this week. Wishing I had a trip planned to a warm climate where we could blow bubbles to our hearts content.
Look at me blogging all week ;) I have been slacking in the blogging department, but I have been sharing lots on Facebook(not my favourite...if I'm honest it feels like a chore now...which makes me wonder exactly how much longer I'll continue to share there) and Instagram(which I love and is perfect for scrolling through while I play 'taxi-mom' which I do every day for a little bit anyways). Come find me over there! I'd love to connect. And, don't be afraid to comment here...I'd love to know if anyone still reads blogs. People keep telling me they are dead. I'd like to prove them wrong ;)
