A Soft and Sweet Maternity Session | Calgary Maternity Photographer

I love having pregnant mamas in my studio. I have been growing my collection of dresses but this mama to be had a couple of her own as well. Plus, she added in a gorgeous floral crown based on her wedding flowers. Jaime from Fleurish  did a wonderful job on the floral crown(as always...she is just awesome at what she does).

I had these two in the studio recently. I love when both expectant parents come into the studio together. It is such a special time in a young family's life that it is wonderful to document the connection that mom and dad feel together and with their soon to be born baby. Maternity photography should be about more than the belly. It is simply one of the most beautiful times in a young family's life and it should be celebrated. Love that this mom to be was brave and bared some skin. And, the floral crown from Fleurish is so gorgeous.
