Bun In the Oven
Yesterday, I spent a lazy Sunday morning with these two lovebirds who will soon be welcoming a wee one. Mom is the amazing event planner, Terra, and dad is the fantastic wedding photographer, Terence. When they announced to the world that they were having a baby, they changed their Facebook profile pics to images of a 'bun in the oven'...so, we thought it would be cute to play with that theme. These 3 images are a small sampling from a larger project that I did for them. I can't WAIT to share the final results, but for now...
Happy Monday everyone...

Sunshine, Snow and Singapore
I know what you are thinking...how does that title make any sense? Well, this lovely family decided that it was time for them to have a family session. We did it this past weekend, because two of them are home from Singapore. I felt a teeny bit bad for them given the temperature in Calgary this past weekend, but they assured me that it didn't bother them. I call my extended family sessions 'Legacy Sessions' because we get to see the legacy that two people created when they made the decision to love each other. I absolutely adore seeing little ones with their grandparents and think these kinds of sessions are so important. It is truly an honour to create images for people when I know that they will be treasured for many years to come by so many people.
The Fairies
Hi. My name is Claudia. I'm a fairy. I'm not an ordinary fairy, I'm an 'almost' fairy. I just got the best news. If you lean in real close, I'll tell you. Ready? We welcomed a new fairy... She's real cute, but I wasn't sure about her at first. Finally, I decided that she would do. So, I made a wish....I wished that she would one day be a Princess(I also wished that she would be a 'potty star').We love her so much already :)
And, they all lived happily ever after(even if they were a teeny bit tired)...
The Beginning...

PS--always a pleasure to see my 'Short and Sweet' families grow. Four years ago, I shot their maternity and their newborn.
Queen E Has Arrived
Yesterday, I spent the afternoon in a cozy little nest with these lovely new parents and their beautiful baby girl. I am sure they knew they would love her, but I have a feeling they were knocked over by exactly how much. It is always such a treat for me to witness two becoming three...Congratulations you three! And, thank you for trusting this moment to me and my camera.
