New Website Coming Soon....

First look at my new site...it has been a LONG time in the making, but is so close to being ready to launch. My plan is to have it up and running by Friday. Yay!!! So, if you come here and things aren't working, it's cause stuff is happening in the background.

AND...with the launching of the new site comes my biggest PORTRAIT SALE EVER...seriously...the best price for the session and the digital files that I have ever offered...so, if you have always wanted a session with me NOW IS THE TIME TO DO IT. I'll announce the details on Friday, but if you want to ensure a spot in September, email me now and I'll tell you all about it ;)

Home Is Wherever I'm With You

This couple was so much FUN to work with...the groom even tried to make people laugh during his vows ;) And, who needs a photo booth when you have a trolley and goody bags filled with fun stuff for everyone on board!! Combine that with their nonstop need to kiss each other and it sure made for a fun day of shooting for me ;) Any couple who can make each other laugh so much is bound to have a happy and long life together! Here is just a sampling of some of the images we made together.

Registration Is Now Open

Registration is now open for the Short and Sweet Fall Retreat in Toronto, Ontario. To read more about the details see this post. If you have specific questions, please feel free to contact Dana at dana@danapugh.com. There are limited seats available so it is being offered on a first come first serve basis.

I have been asked a lot about whether or not this is a beginner or an intermediate level workshop...and the truth is, I feel that it is not a beginner workshop. THAT SAID...I don't turn away beginners because I know and have experienced first hand that we can all learn from each other. If there is a reason you are being drawn to this workshop, then I encourage you to come no matter what your skill level. My expectations are that you know how to use an SLR camera on full manual, as well as, that you have at least a basic understanding of professional editing software. There is a portfolio review part of the workshop, so you need to have images that you are prepared to share with the group.

I am so excited for the Toronto workshop, in part because it is being held at the studio of the wonderful Whim & Whistle Archival Co. Check it out:

This is the first time that I will be splitting the workshop into two days, so you have the opportunity to attend one or the other or BOTH. If you attend BOTH, you will receive a special invitation to a pre-workshop cocktail party on the Tuesday evening, as well as, one free 30 minute one-on-one session with me either during the course of the workshop or afterwards via Skype. You will also receive $100 off the total cost.

Soooo...$200 deposit/day is required to reserve your spot. This is a nonrefundable deposit, but may be sold to someone else. Please use a paypal account attached to the email address you wish me to contact you at or email me alerting me to the proper address. If you would like to make payment some other way, just email me. The outstanding amount will be invoiced to you on September 15th, 2012.

Day 1: Making Your Business Work For You $500 Discussions on branding, marketing, and pricing for success. Attendees will begin a business plan charting out achievable goals to help them turn their business into their vision.

Day 2: Embracing Your Artistry $500 Indepth portfolio reviews, discussions on personal projects, inspiration, and embracing your artistry to help you stand out in a sea of photographers. Plus, a bunch of fun creative exercises to get the juices flowing.
