5 Minutes of Motherhood
I had the extreme pleasure of staying with this family on a recent trip to Abbotsford. Their mother is the extremely talented Kyla Ewert. I was there presenting to a group of wonderful photographers about sustainable business practices(I'd love to do more of that if any one is interested. I am passionate about artists making a decent living). She leant me her new Sigma 24mm art lens for a few minutes and these are the images I created while I followed them up and down the driveway. I shared them over at the 5 Minute Project blog as well...in case you want to take a look. Just a quick note to say that no one was ever in any danger from falling off their bike ;) At the pace we were going, it would have been faster to walk them ;) Just saying...
Okotoks Maternity Session
This gorgeous mama to be is more than just a client. She has grown to be a dear friend. So happy to help her welcome her new little one into the world. So glad we did this when we did because just a couple days later would have been too late. Can't wait to meet her newest little man! ~ Dana
Celebrating Mother's
There were lots of cute little kids and their moms at my event this weekend, but I decided to share this image first because I want a photograph like this with my mom. That's all I want for Mother's day ;) Loved seeing and meeting all the mothers this past weekend. Lots to share--I promise, but I just couldn't resist this pretty shot to get the ball rolling.
Oh--and I'm not saying this daughter isn't cute and little...but, I will say that she was very well behaved and fully deserved her treat afterwards.
